B-25 Pacific Princess - Nampa, ID
August 12th, 2007

A B-25 made an appearance at the Nampa airport this weekend. The Warhawk Air Museum sponsered the event. I loaded up the fam and headed for the airport. Jonna Doolittle Hoppes, granddaughter to General Jimmy Doolittle was on hand. She gave a presentation about her famous grandfather on both Saturday and Sunday. They were also selling autographed books. Accompanying her was one of the Doolittle Raiders who will also talked about his experiences on the famous Doolittle Raid during WWII. A P-51, P-40, F-86 and T-38 were also on hand. They all made several flybys.

Here are a couple shots of the plane

Here's Kristi and Brooklyn trying to stay cool. It was fairly hot today outside.

One of several fly by's in formation.

F-86 flown in Korea.

Me and the co-pilot checking out the action.

Here are a couple video's I took with my camera. The first is the engine startup on the B-25. Boy this thing really sounds great. I told my wife it's the sound of freedom.

Here is another video of the planes taxiing out for another flyby.
